Target audiance of a thriller

Thrillers have a a wide range of audiences because there are so many different types and sub-genres of thrillers. Different people like different genres but the way it usually works is your political thrillers and psychological thrillers appeal mostly to the older audience groups and your action thrillers and supernatural thrillers usually appeal to a younger audience. Almost always thrillers are 15+ or 18+ films and so the audience will always consist of young adults. Another way to divide the audiences is when it comes to action thrillers or political thrillers the audience is usually predominantly male, where as your romance and maybe comedy thrillers will appeal more to females
